Recipe to prepare "Murg Hariyali Kabab" - rich in protein, vitamin and iron contents:
Ingredients:1. mint leaves - 1 bunch
2. coriander leaves - 1 bunch
3. garlic - 2 cloves
4. ginger - 1/2 inch
5. yoghurt - 2 table spoons
6. salt - to taste
7. lemon - 1/4 small size
8. chicken - 250 gms
9. cinnamon - 1 inch
10. cardamom - 1
11. cooking oil - 1 table spoon
12. green chilly - 1
13. cooking oil - 1 table spoon
Procedure:
1. to prepare marinade, take a bowl and add-
a. 1 bunch mint leaves
b. 1 bunch coriander leaves
c. 1/2 inch ginger
d. 2 big garlic cloves (peeled)
e. 1 green chilly
f. 2 table spoons yoghurt
g. salt to taste, or (1/4 tea spoon)
h. juice of 1/4 small lemon
i. make a paste by blending all ingredients in a mixer
2. take 250 gms chicken (cut in small pieces) in a bowl
3. add the green marinade
4. mix it well with the chicken pieces
5. keep it for atleast 2 hours to marinate
6. heat 1 table spoon cooking oil (on high flame) on pan
7. add 1 inch cinnamon
8. add 1 cardamom
9. add the marinated chicken
10. let it cook for a minute; then flip it to other side
11. you could add remaining marinade to the dish
12. toss it nicely
13. put off the flame, and serve the dish
14. garnish it with a stalk of mint leaves
